Sept is the month.

Its the birthday of my 'beloved's. On the 5th its my dearest mummy's big day, and on the 7th is sam's bdae.

Bought a watch for my mum. Set me back S$155. Thankfully, my brother had some winnings from his soccer bettings, so he chipped in too. The watch is lovey.
Class with a look reminiscent of the antique past. In fact, I think I would be wearing it more often than my mummy! haha...evil plan to get another watch to my wardrobe.

Have already decided to get a phone for sam cos his current mobile is simply.....hideous.

So I happily walked into one of those neighbourhood ah beng handphone shop in tampines and enquired about the price of a nokia 6610i. After much bargaining in my distasteful hokkien mixed with chinese and peppered with english, I managed to depress the original price down by $20!

ah beng: Xiao jie, your contract only reached 21 months this 14th...not today!I cant sell it to you at this price already (of course all tt wasn't in english, just too difficult for me to type it out in chinese or hokkien!)

I was stupified and disgusted. I immediately snatched back my IC and ran out of the shop!
I would walk into another one of these ah beng shop with much trepidation next time.

Sam's bdae is on the 7th.
Getting the phone without upgrades will cost me $385!!!!
That would bring my bank account to a new low ever!

I just found out yesterday that my project mate's english name is JOEL!!!
YET ANOTHER ONE!!!?!?
Is this a cruel joke or wat?!?

He is the 7th joel I know of! Is Joel really such a common name!??!??!
I think I must be the person on earth who knows the most JOELs!
