The impromptu meet up on Friday with the girlies was great. I tink we should do more of such meetings. But there's always the stupid saying: if we fail to plan, we plan to fail.
Feck it.
Anyways, we had our AGM, albeit only 4 directors were present.

He snapped at a "financial consultant" on a roadshow who was very persistent on finding out about our saving habits.

8 days The 2005 Cheena New Year has finally come to an end on Sunday.We had some relatives over at my place...I was the assigned bartender for the evening.
Well...I only served concoctions of vodka, Black Russian, Khalua, Baileys and wine. Not the 1001 varieties of poison you find in Jook.
Speaking of which, I witnessed (or rather heard since I'm too busy to appreciate it visually) the CNY fireworks outta my client's window for 4 nights the past week. Couldn't make it to cell on Tuesday because of work. Its starting.
Today is the much abhorrent day....gruesome twosome.
We are not huge suckers for such occasions. He was in church for singing practice and I was catching up on my sleep at home.
Its my dad's birthday and his mum's too. I haven got time to get presents for either of them.
Big celebration this weekend. My parent's silver jubilee. Their 25th anniversary. A lot of logistical details to settle. A long list of attendees to confirm and I haven ordered the multi-tiered cake.
I can't say 24 hours is enough.

Thank God for the 7pm knock-off time this week.
Vanilla suggested creating a blog for us. Sorta like a newsletter to keep each other informed of what's happening in our lives. Since we lead such busy lives....we hardly have time to meet up. So it might be a good idea.
And seeing that I'm getting busier with work...my posts are getting more and more infrequent. Perhaps, I should just open up the blogging space to them. But part of me feels strangely possessive about my blog. Like a mother, giving up her child is difficult.
This child of mine was conceived about 3 yrs ago with the help of midwife, Kimchi Chan. It has come a long way...from plain standard blogger templates, to downloaded blogskins...and the present self-designed-from-scratch blog!
Will sleep on it and ponder about the feasibility of sharing my baby with 6 other surrogate mums.
Meanwhile, the CNY visitation pictures!
Finally we made it possible to visit each other's houses this CNY. We have been putting it off for far too long!
