Also, I have never felt more patriotic for Singapore while watching Li Jia Wei beat the defending champ, Wang Nan. Actually, the way Wang Nan lost almost seems like she did it on her own will..to satisfy the hunger for Singapore's hope of a medal. Even the commentator said:"I'm sure China won't begrudge giving Singapore a medal, since it has been 44 yrs since Singapore brought home one". My natural skepticism led me to the tot...could it be possible that there is a political influence or rigging of sorts in this victory? I shall not continue instigating...lest I get exiled from the country.
Its been such a lazy day. I think I'm a huge procrastinator. There are many things I set out to accomplish today. But I didn't.... Wanted to hit the gym in the morning. I pressed down the alarm at 9am and only woke up at 12pm. Wanted to head down to sim lim to get some computer parts. I convinced myself that its gonna be crowded there, so I would go down on a weekday instead. Wanted to start catchin up on my readings for the past week. I end up on the couch glued to the Olympics telecasts. Wanted to draft some letters for my project. Here I'm blogging away... I need help. Heading to Chomp Chomp later this evening for my dinner and hopefully some FYP discussion. Having this huge craving for seafood.
Table Tennis at Athens
Speakin of the Olympic games, the table tennis matched this morning really had me bitting my nails. It has got to be one of the most exciting sports matches of the year!And I didnt' even bet on it!
