Had my first stab at singing in a KTV today. Perhaps its from watching too much Singapore Idols that we girls have decided to sing instead of clubbing at Zouk.

We settled at Party World in Chinatown.

before that caline and angeline has already prepared me for the overly "cheena" decor...so it was not much of a cultural shock for me when we got there.

I must say KTVs has got to be one of the places that totally overprice their beverages and food. Can u imagine a pathetic plate of fruits (predominantly watermelons) costs us $12!!!!?!?

With $12, i could get dunno how many big red juicy whole watermelons loh!!!!!

On a totally different note altogether....I would like to holler at the stoooopid banks in Spore..esp OCBC!!!They just raised the minimum deposit requirement!! Now I have to maintain at least $1000 in my savings account if I dun want they to deduct $2 every month. ARGH!!!
