Frankly, I feel this shitty 311 course is not about testing one's Strategic Management skills, rather its a test of your networks and contacts. If you so incidentally have alot of smart ass dean-listers as your friends, then you will stand to gain by engaging in a discussion with them as to how they are going to approach analysing the case.

Its a test of how resourceful you are in finding information about the case. Maybe I could arrange for an interview with Jennie Tay? Would she oblige to this pathetic request from a low-ranking local university?

And as with all closed book exams, its a test of memory!!!!
How I wish I have an expandable memory slot which I can insert a 1 gig SD Card with the information from the entire course.
I simply can't memorise. Its not me.

When would the syllabus really move away from rote learning? And stop the unfair rewarding of As to those pea-brained, sheltered nerds who simply regurgitate everything from the text.
